Position Overview: As a Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser covering our South London Clinics, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer care and audiology services to our clients. This role demands a mix of technical audiology skills, customer service excellence, and the ability to manage clinic operations effectively. Your service area will not be limited to one clinic, necessitating travel and work across our Wimbledon, Twickenham, South Croydon, Clapham Common, East Dulwich, and Bromley branches, as well as other neighbouring clinics, ensuring our standard of care is consistently high across our network. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive auditory examinations to determine the nature and extent of hearing loss. Safely remove ear wax using best practices to ensure patient comfort and prevent infections. Select, fit, and program hearing aids, offering tailored solutions based on individual hearing loss profiles and lifestyle needs. Provide in-depth consultations to discuss hearing assessment results, recommend appropriate hearing aids or treatment options, and address client concerns. Deliver exceptional aftercare services, including hearing aid adjustments, maintenance advice, and follow-up consultations to ensure optimal device performance and client satisfaction. Assist in the day-to-day management of clinic operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and a high standard of care. Uphold the highest levels of professionalism and customer service, aiming to exceed expectations and build long-term client relationships. Work collaboratively with clinic staff across multiple locations, supporting a cohesive team environment and seamless client experience. Stay informed of advancements in audiology practices, hearing aid technology, and related fields to ensure the highest level of care. Be available to provide cover in emergency situations or as required by clinic needs. Conduct training sessions for fellow audiologists and serve as a primary point of contact for any inquiries or guidance needed by trainee audiologist colleagues. Qualifications and Skills Required: MSc in Audiological Science or equivalent, or BSc in Audiology. Registered to practice as an audiologist with HCPC. Proven experience in audiology, preferably in a private clinic. Hearing aid sales experience. Comfortable with lone working. Exceptional customer care and communication skills. Strong computer literacy. Proactive and action-oriented. Organised with efficient time management. Drive and tenacity. Salary and Benefits: Basic Salary: £30,000 - £75,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Uncapped variable pay. 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays. Pension scheme package. Bonus scheme. Commission pay. Commuting/Relocation: Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to London before starting work (required). Experience: Experience in Audiology: Minimum 1 year (preferred). Work Location: In-person at various clinic locations in South London. The desirable candidate would need to be able to travel between clinics, with the option of conducting home visits to generate more hearing aid sales commission.
