We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hillingdon to assist with the appointment of a Customer Service Advisor , on a 1-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £14.84 - £18.30 per Hour Responsibilities: Act as first point of contact for incoming queries to the Council either in person at the reception desk, operating the switchboard. Deliver exceptional customer service, efficiently and in line with Hillingdon's vision and values To demonstrate understanding of the Councils Customer Care Standards and ensure that these standards are met in order to deliver the Council vision of putting our residents first. Resolve customer queries received by telephone or through e-transactions promptly and accurately, using established procedures or readily available guidance Assist the team to meet the Councils customer service standards. Always use the appropriate greeting, including name, and ensure that a positive image of Hillingdon council is provided. Qualifications: Good standard of written and oral English Proving experience of working in a busy pressurised environment of a call or contact centre of at least a year. Strong navigation and keyboard skills. Knowledge of IT software and systems - including Word and Excel Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
