Identify the customers needs through a range of differing sales techniques. Match relevant product to customers needs and present applicable features and benefits of product. Appraise used cars offered in part exchange effectively. Prospecting for new customers Identify sources of potential new and used car customers for your franchise and business as a whole. Carry out prospecting activities on a regular basis with confidence. Managing Preparation and hand over of sold vehicles to customers Process sales orders, ensuring that delivery dates are managed and update customers regularly of any progress. Introduce all customers to the Business Manager where possible, prior to a deal being completed. Check vehicles for delivery and liaise with Vospers team members to guarantee all PDI arrangements are handled effectively and all pre-delivery commitments are met. Maintain showroom and displays to required standards Confirm all vehicles are washed, presentable and ready for inspection by a customer, including your own company car. Display all vehicles correctly and clearly with the right price and specification details Maintain regular contact with all new and existing customers Maintain all customer follow up systems and keep an organised record of all prospects i.e. for walk ins, test drives and telephone enquiries, keeping your own diary and team whiteboards up to date. Implement a continual follow-up process for new and existing customers. Contact each customer within 24 hours of delivery to ensure they are satisfied with their purchase and deal with any queries or questions. Provide a further follow up call after 21 days to ensure the customer is completely satisfied. Location Truro, Cornwall Salary £20,000 per annum plus un-capped commission Hours Monday to Saturday (Day off in the week) Sundays are typically rota 1 in 3 but we are currently closed on a Sunday Care - Accountability - Performance - Respect Integrity We are proud that so many of our people stay with us and develop their careers at Vospers over the long term.
