Role Outline This position will be pivotal in a series of Allegis Group EMEA Business Intelligence team projects. The selected candidate will partner with technical and business stakeholders to facilitate a seamless transition to a new visualisation platform (Power BI), whilst ensuring the continued support of auxiliary products that align with current process demands. They will be adept at diagnosing and resolving issues, evaluating root causes, and offering strategic solutions to gaps. The role requires maintaining productive relationships with Analysts to uphold existing products and aid future advancements. The candidate will be expected to operate within pre-defined and mutually agreed timelines to accomplish all tasks and address challenges in an Agile setting. Core Responsibilities * Develop high-quality, maintainable and efficient visualisations in Power BI, delivering a consistent product to suit the required needs * Maintain existing Power BI reports with defect resolution/feature enhancement requests * Oversee business processes necessary for routine data processing requirements * Create ad-hoc analysis where required whilst highlighting opportunities for process improvements/automation * Perform testing & data validation for own work items and work items of team members * Compose technical documentation, where required, of new or updated features for sharing knowledge across the technical teams * Monitor and respond to calls within the Ticket Management System (Service Now) * Collaborate with the Global Development and Support teams on Allegis Global initiatives * Create and execute required database queries to extract/modify data Skills * Demonstratable experience with the following technologies: * T-SQL (SQL Server / Snowflake) * Power BI / DAX * Advanced Excel (inc. VB Macro) Desirable: * Snowflake DDL * SharePoint * Understanding of Agile methodologies * Other Data Visualisation (Tableau / SSRS) Behaviours * Excellent communicator to both technical/non-technical stakeholders * Strong customer service background * Technical and analytical aptitude * Attention to detail * Team focused * Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills * Excellent business acumen * Self-motivation/self-starter
