Mechanical Design Engineer Ref:BM266 This is an exciting opportunity for an established mechanical design engineer to join an award:winning multidisciplinary consultancy in their offices in Birmingham. The successful candidate will join a team of design engineers and be exposed to various projects across all sectors of the industry. Responsibilities for a Mechanical design engineer include: * Limited supervision on producing drawings, reports, and specifications * Working with internal and external clients to provide design and technical advice * Aid with Part L compliance checks * Work alongside your colleagues to help with design and specifications of renewable technologies The ideal Mechanical Design Engineer will have: * Qualification or degree within a building services or mechanical engineering discipline * Relevant experience within a mechanical design engineer role and producing design solutions from conception to completion * Working towards CIBSE or IEng chartership * Experience with industry standard software such as Revit, whilst experience with IES being desirable * Excellent communication and presentation skills Benefits of the role include: * Competitive salary * Hybrid working * Life assurance * Pension scheme * Car allowance * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays If This role interests you or if you are interested in searching for other roles relating to sustainability please feel free to contact Ben Moore on or email There are many more roles available on our website at penguinrecruitment.
