Mechanical and Electrical Engineer Location: West Bromwich, UK A leading glass manufacturer and processing company supplying the UK is on the lookout for a talented Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: * Inspect, test, and commission electrical installations * Diagnose and correct electrical faults * Perform planned preventative maintenance * Handle unscheduled maintenance as required Qualifications: * Electrical qualification: C and G Level 3 Electrical Installation or HND Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) * Proficiency in English: IELTS B1 (or equivalent, if non:UK) Skills and Requirements: * Strong understanding of electrical principles and basic installations * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings * Proficient in basic mechanical tasks, including machining, welding, plumbing, and greasing * Knowledge of PLCs and basic software understanding Benefits: * Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience * Company pension scheme * 28 days of annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays Job Type: Full:time Schedule: * Monday to Friday, day hours * Overtime available (including Saturdays and for unplanned maintenance) Work Location: Single site, no travel required Join us and be a part of a team dedicated to excellence in glass manufacturing.
