The Role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology (D and T) Teacher to join our enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in D and T, with the ability to inspire and engage students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. You will be responsible for delivering high:quality lessons that stimulate curiosity and creativity, helping students to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities * Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging D and T lessons across various key stages. * Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. * Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for the subject. * Contribute to the development and review of the D and T curriculum. * Support extracurricular activities and initiatives related to Design and Technology. * Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students. Person Specification * Qualifications: A degree in Design and Technology or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. * Experience: Proven experience teaching D and T at the secondary level. Experience in teaching A:Level D and T is desirable. * Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time:management abilities. * Passion: A genuine passion for Design and Technology and a commitment to student success. * Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
