We are currently recruiting for experienced (and new) Teachers in the Cambridgeshire area. As an agency, we have had high success rates with local primary schools for years. This has resulted in numerous ad hoc placements and exclusive long term/fixed contracts (if desired). Please read on for more information on some of the benefits of working through us. Flexibility With our digital work diary (Sirenum), you are in full control of your working diary week in and week out. You will have the daily opportunity to state when you can and cannot work in any given week and you can accept only the work that appeals to you. This way of working has proven highly effective/beneficial for those with limited availability, childcare arrangements or even for those who are part retired. Preferences When you join us, we will take in ALL preferences that you wish to declare. This can include, but not be limited to distance travelled, year group taught, responsibilities held, days worked and much more. Pay We offer highly competitive rates of pay (supply rates) and you can be earning GBP130 : GBP140 per day worked. This excludes all planning and marking (and no books to take home). However, if you choose to work a full responsibility role with us, we aim to get you paid to scale from day one. If you find the day to day life as a full time/part time Teacher stressful and the above sounds ideal, apply today for a casual (no commitment) conversation about how we can help you Key responsibilities: * Marking work that is completed during the day. * Keeping up:to:date records of students progression and learning. * Following set plans to deliver effective lessons. * Producing class content for long term roles. * Ensuring the safeguarding of all pupils. * Upholding the Schools Ethos and Values. * Ensuring your weekly availability is up to date. Please note that candidates who do not meet the essential criteria for this role will not be considered Essential requirements: * Relevant qualifications (PGCE, QTS etc.) * High knowledge of the EYFS/ KS1 OR 2 national curriculum. * Classroom experience. * Two references from the last 5 years (1 must be a full child:based safeguarding reference) Desired: * DBS on the update service. Randstad is committed to the safety of young children; therefore all posts will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. If your DBS is not on the update service we can assist you in this.
