Are you an experienced and driven Electrical maintenance professional seeking an exciting leadership role? My market leading, FM client are hiring a lead electrical shift maintenance engineer to join their team, focusing on large static, critical site in the City of London postcode . This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about maintenance and are looking for an opportunity to progress in FM. Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems. * Lead a team of engineers on shift * Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, implementing timely and effective solutions to minimise downtime. * Conduct preventive maintenance activities to extend the lifespan of electrical equipment and systems, including: UPS, transformers, Circuit breakers, distribution boards/panels and HVAC power supply. * Collaborate with the wider team to carry out electrical projects, upgrades, and minor installation works * Stay current with industry standards, codes, and regulations, ensuring compliance in all electrical maintenance activities. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and service reports. * Requirements: * NVQ / C and G Level 3 in electrical installation and/or Level 3 electrical apprenticeship * LV/HV Authorised Person desirable * 17th or 18th edition * Proven experience as a Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer in building services (commercial offices, hospitals, or critical environment preferable) Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
