Job Title: Traffic Marshal Location: Rochester, UK Job Type: Full:Time About the Company: A reputable construction services firm operating in Rochester that is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency, is seeking a diligent and experienced Traffic Marshal to oversee and direct vehicle movement on and around our construction sites. This position requires a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check due to the safety:sensitive nature of the role. Key Responsibilities: * Directing and managing the flow of traffic around the construction site. * Ensuring the safety of pedestrians, drivers, and site personnel. * Coordinating with site management to facilitate the smooth movement of vehicles. * Monitoring and controlling access to the site. * Communicating effectively with drivers and site operatives to minimize risks. * Implementing and adhering to traffic management plans. * Maintaining clear and accurate records of vehicle movements. * Assisting with general site duties as required. Requirements: * Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. * Previous experience as a Traffic Marshal or in a similar role. * CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is preferred. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage stressful situations. * Strong understanding of health and safety regulations. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
