Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Ware, Hertfordshire Start Date: September 2024 Are you passionate about making a difference in young peoples lives? Do you have a knack for supporting students in their educational journey? If so, we want you to be part of our committed team at a vibrant secondary school in the Ware area The Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the teaching staff and contributing to a positive learning environment. You will assist with classroom activities, provide one:on:one support to students, and help to create an engaging educational experience. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help students to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: * Student Support: Assist students with their academic work, including those with special educational needs. * Classroom Assistance: Support teachers in managing the classroom environment and preparing learning materials. * Encouragement and Motivation: Encourage student participation and engagement in lessons. * Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive and conducive learning atmosphere. * Administrative Tasks: Carry out routine administrative tasks such as record keeping and classroom organisation. * Extra:Curricular Activities: Participate in and support school activities and events. What Were Looking For: * Educational Background: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above); relevant qualifications such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate are a plus. * Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people is highly desirable. * Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. * Attributes: Patient, enthusiastic, and committed to the educational development of students. * Flexibility: Willingness to adapt and take on various tasks as needed.
