As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of a pupils education during the absence of their regular teachers. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and manage classes during the short:term absence of teachers. * Deliver pre:prepared lesson plans and ensure pupils remain on task with their learning activities. * Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil participation and engagement. * Manage classroom behaviour in line with the schools behaviour policy. * Provide feedback to teachers about the progress and behaviour of pupils during their lessons. * Support pupils in their learning by providing assistance and responding to their individual needs Preferred Skills: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment. * A genuine passion for education and supporting pupil development. * Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the needs of the school. Requirements: * An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this) * Good knowledge of the UK national curriculum. * Excellent planning and organisation skills.
