Work Place Flexibility: Hybrid Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC Job Summary/Purpose The Technical Training Specialist will work with field personnel to understand and analyze performance needs to determine appropriate training solutions. Provide maintenance skills training to personnel and solicit and respond to trainee needs. Training services include analysis, development and delivery of training courses, communicating with customers to define and prioritize their needs, and support with assigned initiatives. Responsible for the administration all phases Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate (ADDIE)in the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process. Job Duties/Responsibilities :Work with customers to determine needs and priorities and develop plans and initiatives to meet customer needs related to maintenance skills.:Research and analyze maintenance skills training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultations with managers, instructors, or customer representatives.:Conduct needs and performance analysis to develop the basis for new curriculum development or for updating existing curricula for maintenance skills.:Develops and edits classroom training materials and provides input into overall training content to provide the most relevant training to meet the training needs.:Solicits and responds to feedback regarding content, delivery, training department processes etc. related to training delivery.:Oversee, schedule, deliver, teach and/or facilitate training courses related to maintenance skill sets (Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical):Applies evaluation models (such as Kirkpatricks model of evaluation) to assure highest level of training effectiveness and analyzes existing training delivery to determine the appropriate method for future delivery.:Develop or update training courses and certification processes for new and existing operations, maintenance, and other technical personnel in Power Generation.:Applies ADDIE or other development models as required for all course development projects and maintains course history information.:Actively solicits feedback on programs and updates as needed; improves, training initiatives to improve training (learning) effectiveness.:Obtains technical reviews from content owners and ensures the accuracy of revisions to provide customers with the highest quality technical materials.:Work with a minimum of supervision to complete all work on schedule and budget. Senior Training Specialist Additional Duties/Reponsibilities: :May be involved with collaborating with business partners to review and update Training Procedures, Operating Procedures, Maintenance Procedures, and other documents as requested; also, to develop and manage a technical documentation plan for each project outlining deliverables, due dates, and launch requirements.:Participates in continuous improvement of technical writing processes and systems (e.g., content management) to ensure quality, compliance, and reliability of technical publications. Senior Lead Additional Duties/Responsibilities: :Facilitate the team and curriculum review meetings :Ownership of O and M and capital budget forecasting, actuals, and project implementation/spend:Execution of contracts and purchase orders Minimum Requirements Minimum education required of the position :High school diploma required, or equivalent.:Desired: Associate Degree in (Instrumentation, Electrical or Mechanical) Minimum experience required of the position :Technical Training Specialist:6+years of power generation or other industry experience with the ability to deliver, produce and develop maintenance skills training course material without a degree,or 3+ years of experience with a degree.:Technical Training Specialist Sr:8+ years of power generation or other i
