Due to internal movement, our client are currently looking for an experienced Transport & Warehouse Administrator to work from their Bolton distribution centre.This is a key role in the on-going success of the business and will offer substantial job satisfaction to the successful candidate.The role: Coordinate and monitor delivery activities to ensure optimum customer service.Respond to customer calls and emails in a professional and efficient manner.Communicate delivery instructions and conduct de-brief activities with the company driving team.Utilise IT systems to support the efficiency of the department.Compile data and prepare department specific operational reports. The person: Experience within a Transport and/or Warehouse environment.Experience in customer service/administration.Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of MS Office software.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.A proactive approach to problem-solving.
