Job Title: Cluster/Group HR DirectorLocation: MaldivesPackage: up to 5,000 USD per month, plus site based accommodation, transportation sea plane, boat etc., food allowance etc. I'm currently supporting an incredible hospitality group, based over in the Maldives, with their search for a Cluster/Group HR Director. The group are one of the leading hospitality groups, across the Maldives, boasting an incredible portfolio of luxury properties and a number of regional & international awards to match. In short, we're looking for a Cluster/Group HR Director who can lead all resort HR & L&D teams. By driving the company culture and employee engagement you will be an integral part of the growth and success of the group. This role would report directly into the wider Group COO, and you will be responsible for overseeing a wider HR team each property can have anywhere from 2-8 HR team members, but we are also looking for someone from a strong L&D background, as you will also be expected to oversee & manager the wider L&D teams too each property has at least 1 L&D professional present. You'll be involved in some pretty exciting projects too - with the group set to re-open & re-launch a number of refirbished properties across Q4 2024, & 2025. Remote island experience is definitely advantageous, but not a must at this stage. Prior hospitality experience is a must. What you'll be doing:Overseeing all HR and L&D operations to ensure smooth and efficient HR processes.Drive and implement a comprehensive people, culture and training strategy that supports company missions, values and HR/business goals.Lead and administer all HR functions including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, benefits and enforce company policies and practices.Develop innovative recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates that align with the service delivery focus.Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction and retention.Develop internal communications strategies to ensure effective communication to all parts of the business to drive an empowered workforce culture.Develop strategies to create an inclusive workplace that values and respects individual differences and experiences.Provide expert professional advice to senior management in all areas of HR, including payroll, learning and development, employment law, HR policy, best practice and workforce development. Develop effective employment policies in consultation with senior managers and executives.Provide professional leadership, support and development to HR staff, in order to increase knowledge, share best practice and ensure professional standards are met. What we're looking for:Bachelor's or University Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent is required.Ten years in hotel Human Resources operations preferably in a resort industry including a minimum of five years in management and similar position.Remote country experience and multi-cultural environment exposure. Maldives experience is an advantage.
