Quality & Compliance Manager Bournemouth based Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (Dependent on Experience) Hours: Full Time, 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday At Protect Line, we're passionate about customer outcomes and commercial success and believe the two go hand in hand. If you are able to take the linear regulations and processes and make them relatable and effective in order to change behaviours, read on… As our Compliance Manager, you'll blend your understanding of human behaviour with compliance strategies. Your mission? To support the business in ensuring that we do the best possible job for our customers, always thinking about their outcomes and ways in which we can avoid causing harm or detriment. Your role will be interpreting the relevant regulations and creating ways in which to safeguard the business and making it relatable to those on the front line. Creating streamlined processes and having great conversations to support our first line in the mission of ‘getting it right first time’. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of GRC, your remit will span across compliance, quality assurance, complaint resolutions, and enhancing the competence of our non-advised agents, including the adherence to distance selling regulations. As a Compliance Manager, you will: Spearhead and manage the GRC strategy across the organisation. Keep abreast of regulations related to non-advised selling in financial services and provide early warnings to the SLT. Uphold compliance, ensuring adherence to both regulatory and internal policies. Oversee quality assurance, instilling a culture of continuous improvement, support and coaching. Address complaints effectively to maintain customer satisfaction and present trends and learning through effective root cause analysis. Encourage continuous learning and training opportunities tied to relevant regulations. Engage in horizon scanning to foresee future risks and opportunities. Foster strong relationships with insurers and regulatory bodies, promoting a collaborative and compliant environment. Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of regulatory returns. Champion a compliance culture that not only safeguards the business but also adds value. What We’re Looking for: Demonstrable experience in a GRC role within the financial services sector, preferably non –advised but not essential Comprehensive understanding of non-advised selling regulations in financial services Proven success in operationalising strategies. Solid background in risk management, compliance, quality assurance, and complaints resolution. Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills. Strong data analysis and decision-making skills. Proficiency in horizon scanning and foreseeing future trends. Experience in liaising effectively with insurers and regulatory bodies, and handling regulatory returns. Strong skills in people and process management. A proactive, pragmatic, and innovative approach to managing risk and implementing strategies. An ability to learn quickly, be agile and hit the ground running At Protect Line, we value our staff.
