Job Title: Ecologist Salary: GBP27,000 : GBP32,000 Location: Surrey We are looking for an Ecologist to join a specialist ecological consultancy in Surrey. The position is ideal for Ecologists looking to progress in their career, with a variety of projects and unrivalled CPD and training opportunities on offer. As an Ecologist your duties will be: * Planning and co:ordinating field surveys, analysing and interpreting survey results; * Undertaking field surveys and managing survey data; * Authoring ecological reports, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals; * Undertaking mapping using QGIS; and assisting with bid preparation and building client relationships. To be considered as an Ecologist you will need: * A degree in ecology, biology, zoology or closely related field * Experience in ecological consultancy * Excellent communication skills * A full valid UK/EEC driving licence.
