Principal Building Physics Engineer Ref:BM264 This is an exciting opportunity for a senior levelled Building Physics Engineer who is looking to progress to a Principal level for a multidisciplined consultancy who operate across the UK. The successful candidate will join a team of engineering and sustainability specialists in their Manchester offices. The responsibilities for a Principal Building Physics Engineer will include: * Provide building energy consumption and embodied carbon services across all stages of their projects * Be a key figure in spreading the clients key values at meetings and professional network conventions * Identify and obtain opportunities for the client to enhance personal career development and enhancement * Mentor the more junior members of the team and help nurture their career development The ideal Principal Building Physics Engineer: * Minimum of 5 years experience within a Building Physics or Sustainability engineering role * Proficient in industry relevant software such as IES:VE to carry out energy modelling * Educational background within a sustainability, architectural, or engineering discipline * Ideally be an accredited NABERS Assessor and have a CIBSE accreditation * Excellent communication and presentation skills Benefits for a Principal Building Physics Engineer: * Competitive salary ranging from GBP45,000 to GBP55,000 * Hybrid working with 2 days in the office * Contributory pension scheme * Structured professional development * Membership fees paid for * Cycle to work scheme If This role interests you or if you are interested in searching for other roles relating to sustainability please feel free to contact Ben Moore on or email There are many more roles available on our website at penguinrecruitment.
