Project Worker Defoe Court, 87 East Street, Epsom, Surrey, KT17 1AQ GBP 13.75 per hour 37.5 hours per week Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Project Worker at our Young People Scheme, Defoe Court in Epsom. The role of Project Worker will include: :Regularly assessing the needs of customers by writing and updating support plans, and signposting access to education, training, and employment :Supporting customers in their day to day living i.e., with cooking and cleaning:Offering advice in relation to fulfilling tenancy conditions:Assisting customers with managing finances and welfare benefits :Encouraging social inclusion and helping customers to build their confidence, resilience, and self:esteem :Ensuring Sanctuary Supported Living delivers its safeguarding responsibilities Skills and experiences: :Proven experience of working with vulnerable people:A positive approach to working with young people who have a range of needs:Good interpersonal and customer care skills, with an approachable attitude:Effective communication skills :Sound knowledge of action/support planning, key working, risk assessment and safeguarding:Ability to work on your own initiative:Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar:NVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards Are you ready to be your best?
