The Role: With a focus on addressing anti:social behaviour (ASB), you'll have the opportunity to significantly increase levels of satisfaction among our residents. Supported by a small team and a Mental Health Practitioner, you'll take the lead on high:profile and high:priority ASB cases, implementing the Council's Housing ASB policy and ensuring safeguarding. Since finding solutions can involve anything from improved sound:proofing to police action, you'll also work to build strong relationships with key partner agencies. Improving overall team performance will also be a key part of the role. We want you to be proactive and collaborative in shaping a service councillors understand and residents can trust. About You: The role demands a good understanding of the law around anti:social behaviour as well as the responsibilities of social housing landlords. You are therefore likely to have a background in housing, probation or policing as well as good insights into the challenges people face in high:density accommodation. Patient and resilient, you'll have the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, and you'll be equipped to follow cases through, right up to preparing for presentation in Court. Highly organised, you'll be able to manage a varied workload and to inspire a team to deliver a continuously improving service.
