About the Team The UKI Field Marketing focus is to build and execute integrated marketing programmes that drive pipeline growth and also deliver tangible ACV to fuel the continued success of Workday in the UKI region. We are a trusted strategic partner to the UKI sales business and go beyond conventional marketing approaches. We delve deep into data-driven insights to engage and activate audiences across various channels, empowering us to make bold decisions that directly impact our business outcomes. This alignment ensures not only synergy but also a shared sense of purpose and success About the Role We are seeking a Director of Field Marketing to lead our Industry & Segment Demand Generation GTM marketing team in the UK & Ireland. This strategic leadership role will be crucial in guiding a talented marketing team and collaborating with stakeholders to drive demand generation strategies that support business growth. The Director will champion a customer-first, data-driven culture and ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives to enhance awareness, pipeline, and ACV.You willFoster a positive team culture, leading and developing the Industry Demand Generation marketing team through effective career and performance management.Translate business priorities into effective marketing strategies, ensuring alignment between sales and marketing to achieve results.Achieve annual marketing pipeline goals and key performance indicators across pipeline creation, maturation, and ACV conversion, focusing on marketing ROI.Set program goals, analyse performance, draw insights, and present results to support data-driven decision-making.Maintain a feedback loop with sales to optimise lead generation campaigns and identify opportunities for pipeline acceleration and conversions.Collaborate with EMEA, and Global stakeholders to implement targeted comprehensive go-to-market plans, including campaigns, digital, events, executive programs, and ABM.Manage the budget and quarterly targets, initiatives, and metrics. About You You will be expected to have significant experience in field marketing, be a dynamic people leader and have proven ability to thrive in a matrix, multi-stakeholder environment. You will be instrumental in evolving our go to market strategy and ensuring the successful business performance of the UKI.Leading and mentoring a team of marketers, you will work closely and collaboratively with the rest of the EMEA / Global marketing teams, with sales leadership, their teams and other stakeholders to deliver your goals. Basic qualifications 10-15 years of professional experience with 10+ years in marketing.Proven track record of managing and developing diverse teams.Strong background in holistic digital strategies.Expertise in building customer-centric marketing strategies.Results-driven with excellent problem-solving skills.Outstanding communication and presentation skills.Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills.Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and visionary self-starter. Other qualifications Results-driven marketing professional with a proven ability to deliver commitments on time while achieving or exceeding business goals.Knowledge of the local enterprise software market, preferably within HR and/or Financial applicationsStrategically-minded but willing to be very hands on and get programs executedProven ability to effectively execute integrated, streamlined marketing programs that drive pipelineAbility to work with people at all levels of an organization including executive management, sales, and marketingWilling to travel within EMEA and to HQ in the USA occasionally Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we're combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
