Position Description: This Role will have two elements: Supply Planning: To ensure a Production Schedule is developed for assigned product(s) to meet customer requirements. The role is required to understand the planning and replenishment processes and associated IT systems, e.g. SAP S/4HANA and SAP/IBP and PPDS but is not limited to those. This role will be responsible for ensuring each Contract Manufacturer can meet the MPS and drive the resolution of any constraints which includes typically, operations, laboratories, Quality Control, warehouse and shipping. Close working relationships are required across Supply chain, Quality, Technical Services and the Contract Manufacturers to manage complex supply chains. Prepare and lead multifunctional Joint Process Teams to build and develop relationships. Plan, order and reconcile CM Material. Have a high level of ownership for Inventory Management focusing on setting inventory targets and minimizing write-offs. Expected to manage and/or represent the JPT on key supply chain projects. Inventory Management To support the financial inventory over-seen within the EEM international organization. The position requires comprehensive business and supply chain knowledge to improve processes and identify inventory cost opportunities, to avoid write offs, to move slow movers to sales and managing net working capital. The job owner needs to facilitate decisions on operational processes, projects and Supply Chain/Finance related activities; ensuring a proper CM inventory reconciliation, audits, supporting EEM supply chain and maintaining financial reporting/ monitoring is part of the job and must be performed in compliance with applicable SOPs, SOX, and GxP related activities. The job holder participates in establishing key communication paths between different functions and organizations for progress monitoring and escalating. Functions, Duties, Tasks: · Anticipate and drive resolution of capacity constraints. Ensure any major capacity issues are escalated appropriately. · Run ‘What If’ scenarios when required to ensure the Master Schedule is optimized from both a supply chain and manufacturing perspective. The role will be key in determining the most profitable way to produce products by assessing impacts of reduce lead-times, cycle times, alternative raw materials or equipment. · Ownership for CORRS performance for assigned products and drive improvements. Use metrics to influence Contract Manufacturers and ensure appropriate actions are raised and implemented. · Play an active role in both EEM and Global Supply Chain initiatives. This will involve implementation of product line extensions (i.e. different pack sizes or labels to an item already supplied to the market). This involves coordination across the total value chain from affiliate, through regulatory, through packaging and manufacturing to ensure products meet required launch dates. · Manage and/or participate in key supply chain projects. This will include Global, hub and team projects. · Supervises and coordinates changes (artworks or new packaging components or others) and influences internal processes to ensure timely implementation. · Inventory Management: Responsible for ensuring the following activities take place: • Inventory monitoring • Inventory targets generation and review • Ensures processes and tools are in place to evaluate potential write of risks (e.g. slow and now mover etc.) • Drives actively solutions in regards of write off risk mitigations • Supports inventory related compliance and audit requirements Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications): · Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Technical or business discipline. · English fluent in speaking and writing. · 3+ years’ experience in Production Planning or Supply Planning · GMP environment mandatory. · Ability to balance various interests and competing objectives like functional drivers such as Finance, Quality, Technical Services. · Demonstrated ability to challenge and change status quo. · Planning experience using SAP S/4HANA and preferably SAP IBP and PPDS.
