This position would suit an experienced assembly / build technician with a machine assembly background and knowledge across mechanical / electronic / electrical disciplines.About The Company / Role My client a leading design and manufacturer of bespoke industrial electro-mechanical machinery are currently looking to recruit an experienced Product / Assembly Technician to join the business. This position would suit an experienced assembly / build technician with a machine assembly background and knowledge across mechanical / electronic / electrical disciplines. As a Product Technician the successful candidate will need to be flexible, as your time will be split between working in the office and on-site installing & servicing machines. Product Technician – Key Responsibilities The primary objective of this role will be to support the assembly and build of bespoke, small volume machines utilising advanced plasma treatment technologiesThe fitting, assembly, and testing of mechanical assemblies and electrical components applying a Quality first approachAttention to detail is critical and the ability to follow, and develop, complex work instructions and SOPs Product Technician – Essential Requirements The ability to understand and follow technical drawings both mechanical and electricalA Thorough attention to detail while following assembly procedures to safely assemble machines to an exceptional quality levelRelevant industrial and engineering experience in mechanical/electronic/electrical assemblyExperience in operating test equipment such as thermocouples, transducers, flow meters.Ability to methodically problem solveCustomer facing with previous field service experienceFamiliarity with ISO Quality Standards Product Technician – Desired Requirements Experience in electrical safety systems, control panels, and schematicsUnderstanding of embedded systems and communication protocols such as MODBUSPrevious Software knowledge would be a distinct advantageAny programming experience would be beneficial
