Electrical Maintenance EngineerDenton3 Shift SystemMon-Fri 06:00-14:30Mon-Fri 14:00-22:30Sun-Thurs 22:00-06:30Salary DOE Electrical Maintenance EngineerThe RoleThis position is working for a leading manufacturer within a process-based industry who have a strong reputation which reflects on their commitment to quality at all levels from design, manufacture and delivery. They are looking for an electrically biased maintenance engineer, ideally with a 70:30 split, who can work across their 3-shift system. This is very much a reactive role, with planned maintenance also involved. Electrical Maintenance EngineerMain ResponsibilitiesFault finding during production.Reactive maintenance on the machinery.Performing planned and predictive maintenance.Assessing need of spare parts.Undertake effective planning and prioritisation of workload wherever necessary.Ensure that resources are used to optimum effect.Understand and operate in line with relevant legislation, Company policy and Company procedures.Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the business.Maintain the required standards of housekeeping.Support other teams and functions as required by the business.Undertake self-development activities as required by the business.Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices operated by the Company.Liaise with Coordinator to establish requirements.Conforming to health and safety procedures and policies.Contribute to continuing improvement of the factory equipment and maintenance.Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.Work to lean theory.Observe and practice the 5S principles.Electrical Maintenance EngineerThe CandidateMust be a time served in Electrical or Electronic Engineering discipline.Must be from a manufacturing or process-based background.Must be able to fault find on PLCs e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley.Ideally familiar with factory equipment e.g. CNC machines & conveyors.Multi skilled in basic mechanical practices.Must have at least 5 years post apprenticeship experience.Must be experienced in reactive and preventative maintenance.
