Service Care Solutions have a new and exciting opportunity available working on behalf of Nottingham City Council working as a Family Support Worker.Family Support WorkerJob DescriptionThis company is seeking a Family Support Worker to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising family contacts and completing direct work with children, as well as supporting social work tasks. The Family Support Worker will need to have excellent communication skills as they will be working with young people and their families. They will also need to have strong assessment skills in order to aid social workers with assessments. Additionally, the Family Support Worker will need to be able to write reports on contacts, assessments and direct work with children.Key Responsibilities Supervise family contactsComplete direct work with childrenSupport social work tasksCommunicate effectively with young people and their familiesAid social workers with assessmentsWrite reports on contacts, assessments and direct work with children Requirements Previous experience in a similar roleExcellent communication skillsStrong assessment skillsAbility to write reportsExperience working with young people and their familiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood time management skills QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a degree in social work or a related field, or equivalent experience.Working ConditionsThis is a full-time position, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
