This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Paralegals/Legal Assistants or Legal Officers interested in public sector work.Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority, based in the East Midlands, which is in need of a Paralegal to join their Childcare Legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Paralegals/Legal Assistants or Legal Officers interested in public sector work. Please find below further details on the role:ROLE: Childcare Paralegal LOCATION: East Midlands, hybrid working CONTRACT: Initial 3 months, ongoing. 37 hours per week. RATE: £25 - £27ph umbrella The Role: To provide administrative and clerical support to the Childcare Legal team. This includes drafting Court Documentation, Court Applications and Case Summaries Assist with Childcare Legal caseloads from start to completionTo maintain and update case management system and update department case lists The Person: Someone who has worked as a Childcare Paralegal for a minimum of 12 monthsIdeally someone who has previously worked for a Local Authority in a Childcare Legal teamSomeone who is comfortable working independently in a remote setting Benefits Hybrid workingFlexible hoursWeekly pay If this sounds like an opportunity that is right for you or someone you know, then don't hesitate to get in touch with Hugh Barnes via email, XXXX@servicecare.org.uk, or via phone at 0177XXXXXX.We also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth £250.
