Business Development Manager Permanent GBP40,000 + Per Annum Based on Experience Company Car Laptop Mobile Phone 20 days Annual leave plus public bank holidays Remote working with Visits to Gloucester Head office twice a month Acorn by Synergie is working with a leading international provider of advanced Telecommunications solutions for mission and business critical networks. Who are recognised for innovative technology solutions, providing the network infrastructure and associated applications that optimise existing networks, as well as delivering digital transformation programs that provide a seamless transition from legacy to new technology. Due to company growth they are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join the existing Sales Team within a fast:paced environment. This person will form an important and integral part of an expanding business and at an exciting time within the companys history The right candidate must be a proactive, forward thinking sales professional, with an excellent track record working as a business Development manager. They must possess the following skills: * Be a Creative and Strategic thinker * Engaging and enthusiastic * Have great initiative * Able to identify and explore new business markets, seeking out new opportunities. * Able to relationship build with new and existing clients, partnerships, to grow revenue stream, whilst managing expectations and delivering excellent service. * Identifying new products and services and maintaining existing ones * Quantify network operator Projects * Close Sales orders from telecom network operators. The role will include: * Identify and quantify business sectors for broadband, utilities, government/defence along with direct and indirect sell including system integrators.* Search potential market areas for telecom opportunities.* Present CW telecommunication solutions to potential users.* Proactively present CW value proposition.* Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote products and the business.* Build relationships and stay up to date with new products and technologies.* Creating sales forecasts and actively work towards reaching them and presenting sales information to the Senior Management Team.* Active participation in completion of Tender applications received into the business.* Deliver in person and online Sales presentations with prospective and existing customers.* Work alongside our engineering team to find resolutions and solutions for all new and existing customers. The Business Expectations are: * Deliver minimum GBP1 million new business year one.* Create a BaU run:rate revenue of GBP2 million pa year two.* Possess a strong understanding of the companys products and competition in the industry.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and fluency in English.* Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask.* Strong leadership skills.* Excellent customer service skills.* Technical skills to understand and propose products and solutions by focusing on the clients requirements.* Solid IT skills and knowledge of necessary software including MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software.* The ability be self motivate* Research and stay up to date with Telecoms industry standards, trends and Insights.* This role can be operated remotely once initial on:site training has been fulfilled, then visits to the Gloucester office will be approximately once or twice a month. The Ideal candidate will have : (These are desirable skills) * Management experience / bachelor degree in marketing, accounting, finance, business management or business admin * Level 2 diploma in skills for business * Sales and marketing * Level 3 award in Sales Manager * Extensive proven experience working within the Telecommunications sector If you feel you are the right
