Do you have experience working in a fast:paced warehouse environment? If so, we have the perfect job for you Our client, located in the Heathfield area of Newton Abbot, is seeking a Forklift Warehouse Operator to join the team. They are a food warehouse, and the business is growing rapidly. They need someone who can work efficiently, accurately, and safely to help them keep up with demand. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience and be proficient in operating a forklift. A Forklift trained counter balance licence is required, and we are also looking for someone with a bendi licence. A full, valid driving licence is a must, as you may be required to operate a company vehicle from time to time. This is a full:time position, Monday through Friday, with shifts from 10am to 6pm. As a Forklift Warehouse Operator, your responsibilities will include: : Operating a forklift to load and unload goods: Using a bendi forklift to manoeuvre in narrow aisles: Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently: Keeping track of inventory and reporting any discrepancies: Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse: Following all safety protocols and procedures To be successful in this role, you must be a team player with excellent communication skills. Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work under pressure are also crucial for this position. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multi:task effectively.
