Job Title - Senior Business Development Representative Location - Central London, - Monday - Thursday in office, Friday WFH Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 + Uncapped Commission Opportunity - You will gain the opportunity for Rapid progression within a thriving FinTech SaaS business. You will be supported on your journey to becoming an Account Executive with 1-2-1 mentorship from a VP of Sales who himself started as a BDR within this industry and progressed to where he is today. Being a Startup this is a company that can provide you with unlimited growth potential. Our client is disrupting the world of Finance Management by providing a modern SaaS-based solution that covers everything from AR, AP, O2C, P2P, reconciliation, Debt Collection, Working Capital, Treasury, and many other areas across the finance management workflow.As a business, they are 3 years old and have seen huge progress generating what is now £750K in ARR.From a funding perspective, they secured £4M at their seed raise backed by HubSpot, GumTree, and Stride and have plans to start campaigning for their Series A expected to land during 2024. Currently, they have a runway of 2.5 years and are already very close to being a profitable business.They have several very unique USPs across the platform which I am happy to go into detail about in the initial conversation. The Role We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team as one of the Founding BDR members and play a vital role in our outbound sales efforts. If you have at least 1 year of experience selling Finance-related B2B SaaS products and are driven to prospect and engage potential clients, this is an exciting opportunity for you that also offers an uncapped commission opportunity with double OTE expectation in year 1, Responsibilities Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients within the Finance industry who could benefit from our B2B SaaS products. Utilize various channels such as industry databases, online platforms, and networking events to generate a strong pipeline of leads. Multi-Touch Outreach: Engage prospects through a variety of multi-touch approaches, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and personalized messaging. Tailor your communication to highlight the value and benefits of our Finance B2B SaaS products. Qualification: Conduct initial qualification calls with prospects to understand their specific needs, pain points, and suitability for our solutions. Determine if there is a fit and opportunity for further engagement with our sales team. Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture relationships with prospects, ensuring timely and consistent follow-up. Understand their evolving needs and challenges, positioning our Finance B2B SaaS products as the ideal solution. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align outreach efforts and share insights. Work together to optimize lead generation strategies, messaging, and conversion rates. Sales Enablement: Stay updated on our Finance B2B SaaS products' features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Leverage this knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions and handle initial objections. Sales Metrics and Reporting: Track and report key metrics related to outreach activities, lead generation, and conversion rates. Provide regular updates to the sales team and management on progress and insights. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience selling Finance-related B2B SaaS products, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Highly motivated and target-driven individual with a passion for prospecting and engaging potential clients in the Finance industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage prospects through various channels. Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Resilient and adaptable, capable of handling objections and navigating complex sales cycles. Experience with multi-touch outreach strategies, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and personalized messaging. Familiarity with sales enablement tools and CRM systems to track and manage leads and opportunities. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred. Uncapped commission opportunity based on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
