We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottingham to assist with the appointment of a Passenger Assistant , on a 2- month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £11.59 - £14.51 per Hour Hours per Week: 20 Responsibilities: Ensure the safety, safeguarding, well-being and appropriate supervision of passengers whilst travelling. Provide support to enable passengers with mobility difficulties to board and alight vehicles. Liase with parents/carers, schools/day centres and Passenger Transport Team (PTT) regarding any issues during transportation, i.e. factors affecting a passengers health and well-being and reporting of incidents, vehicle breakdowns, time-keeping and behavioural problems. Undertake training as appropriate under the Passenger Assistant Training Scheme, attend team meeting and appraisals. To be available for alternative duties should the regular run not be required on any particular day. Requirements: Manual Handling training Ability to work without close supervision Emergency First Aid Qualification Experience in the transportation of passengers Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
