Job Overview We are delighted to represent our client in offering an opportunity to join their team as a Junior Conveyancing Fee Earner. In this role you will provide crucial support to the auction sales team and assist in ensuring the smooth operation of the department. Our client is committed to providing excellent service in the realm of property law, and this role is crucial in facilitating seamless transactions and maintaining high standards of client satisfaction. Your Mission As a Junior Conveyancing Fee Earner, you will be at the heart of the auction sales team, providing vital support to ensure all transactions proceed smoothly. Your responsibilities will include managing both email and paper correspondence, taking and making calls to clients and external stakeholders, and liaising with lenders and third parties. You will use case management software to keep files updated, order redemption statements, review and request information from clients, and draft transfers and contracts.Your role will also involve drafting replies to requisitions and ancillary documents such as statutory declarations, filling in and requesting land registry forms, obtaining and reviewing title documents, drafting statements for completion, and apportioning rent, ground rent, and service charges. Key Competencies Experience : Minimum of 1+ years in a conveyancing-focused role is essential. Knowledge : Familiarity with property law and management is preferred. Qualifications : A CILEx qualification or university law degree is advantageous but not essential. Organisational Skills : Highly organised with an eye for detail. Communication Skills : Excellent at liaising with clients and third parties. Offer Details Salary : Up to £27,000, depending on experience. Location : Initially office-based for the first 6 months in Gateshead, transitioning to hybrid working options thereafter.
