We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Enfield to assist with the appointment of a HAS Project Officer , on a 3 - month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £19.95 - £24.69 per Hour Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, managing, co-ordinating and reporting on activities to implement one or more projects from proposal to initiation to delivery including the transition into business-as-usual. Ensuring the projects are managed to realise business benefits. Managing project budgets in accordance with the Councils financial procedure. Ensuring that projects are delivered to scope, within budget and to agreed timeframes, prioritising the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability. Managing dependencies across their projects. Qualifications: A project management or business management qualification is preferred. Experience in project officer role, preferably within a housing or public sector environment. Knowledge of housing and homelessness and the problems facing local government. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
