We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lincoln to assist with the appointment of a Cyber Security Engineer/Architect , on a 6-month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £660.00 - £827.31 per Day Responsibilities: Work with the Head of Cyber Security and other security and engineering colleagues both in house and through our 3rd party provider, to identify, specify, plan and deliver a series of projects and initiatives to improve Cyber Security Projects may include security improvements in M365, Azure, networks and firewalls Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, related field or equivalent experience Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP) are a plus. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Relevant Microsoft Security certifications Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
