Your Mission As an Electrical Engineer, you will engage in a variety of projects across multiple industrial sectors, both onshore and offshore. You will undertake electrical design and specifications for LV and HV equipment, using ETAP power system modelling software to perform analyses and arc flash studies. You will scope client requirements, prepare and deliver technical solutions, and develop client relationships to support business growth. Your role will involve producing high-quality technical reports, preparing scheme designs, and supporting sales efforts. Additionally, you will plan and supervise the work of the design team, manage procurement processes, liaise with clients, conduct site inspections and surveys, and support installation and commissioning activities. Ensuring compliance with quality systems and staying updated with legislative and technological changes are also key responsibilities. Key Competencies Technical Expertise : Proficient in onshore and offshore electrical engineering, with knowledge in oil & gas, power distribution, wind energy, manufacturing, and petrochemical industries. Problem-Solving Skills : Capable of solving complex problems and supporting clients confidently. Educational Background : Minimum of a 2.1 degree in Electrical Engineering or similar from a recognised university; a higher degree or additional qualification is advantageous. Software Proficiency : Experience with complex power system modelling software. Professional Development : Working towards Chartered Engineer status with a relevant institution. Effective Communication : Exceptional report writing and communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
