We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hertford to assist with the appointment of a Markets Manager, on a 3- month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £200.00 - £250.00 per day Hours Per Week: 21.00 Responsibilities: To grow the Hertford and Ware retail, farmers and specialist markets To promote the market branding and identity Day to day liaison with existing traders and identifying potential new traders To assist with refreshing the Councils markets and street trading policy To assist with producing the Councils markets business plan To help grow town centre retail and specialist markets in East Herts Qualification: A good standard of general education, to at least A Level or equivalent Experience of working with town centre markets (either as a private operator or on behalf of a local authority) Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
