Our client, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, is looking for a talented Marketing Director to spearhead their marketing initiatives across Europe. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a passion for sustainable energy and a knack for strategic marketing. Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and executing comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at increasing brand visibility, fostering customer engagement, and driving business expansion within the European market. This position requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts. Core Responsibilities: Formulate and implement a robust marketing strategy tailored to the European market, in line with the clients global objectives. Enhance brand presence through innovative marketing campaigns, compelling content, and targeted messaging that resonates with European audiences. Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics, using these insights to shape marketing tactics. Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation to maximize return on investment and achieve set goals. Work closely with sales, product development, and operations teams to synchronize marketing efforts with business strategies and support lead generation and sales. Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and media partners to bolster the brands reputation and visibility. Candidate Profile: A Bachelor's or Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Proficiency in English is essential. Fluency in additional European languages (particularly Italian, German, or Spanish) would be advantageous. A minimum of 8 years experience in marketing roles, ideally within the renewable energy sector, or with a solid grasp of the European renewable energy market, including its dynamics and regulatory landscape. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing plans that drive business growth and enhance brand awareness. Deep understanding of various marketing channels, including digital, content marketing, social media, events, and public relations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and use data to inform strategic decisions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across teams and influencing stakeholders.
