Duties of the Software Engineer job based in Newcastle include: Working closely with others as part of a team developing a Battery Management SystemLeading and supporting code reviewsDevelop and document coding practicesDevelop software specifications Key skills and experience for the Software Engineer job based in Newcastle are: Experience of BMS algorithm development using embedded C and/or SIMULINKExperienced at embedded software and firmware developmentEmbedded communication protocols such as CAN bus, SPI and I2CFamiliar with C# for GUI development is desirableBackground in battery management systems, control, drives, automotive or motor control applications.
