Are you an experienced Press Brake Operator seeking a new job in Telford? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our clients inclusive and collaborative team, the role comes with an hourly pay rate ranging between A GBP 12.50 : A GBP 13.50 per hour (depending on experience). The hiring manager would prefer someone who has both Setting and Operating experience on an AMADA Press Brake, but they would consider taking on someone with just Press Brake Operating experience, with the view to you learning the setting. This is a day shift pattern Monday to Friday (7.30 am : 4.30 pm/lunch time finish Friday) : 39 hours per week. The hiring manager would consider taking someone onto a permanent contract from Day 1, provided you have the right experience. As a Press Brake Operator, some of your day:to:day responsibilities will include: * Loading and checking programmes as per job sheet and selecting correct materials* Loading and unloading of parts into Amada Press brake* Quality inspection of parts using equipment and gauges, ensuring they have been folded within tolerance* Working from engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards* Maintaining and cleaning equipment for this Press Brake Operator role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include: * Previous experience working with a Press Brake* Previous experience with Amada machines would be beneficial* Ability to interpret and work to engineering drawings* The ability to plan and work from own initiative, with minimum supervision.
