Painter and Decorator Multi skilled Working in our properties across Hertfordshire and Essex Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw Monday to Friday, with on call on a rota basis) Circa £36,711 per annum plus van, generous on call allowance and great benefits including Health Cash Plan Home, a place where you belong Are you an experienced Painter and Decorator looking for a new role with a great employer? You'll use your multi skills to treat surfaces and make them safe, you’ll do that by making repairs to plaster or tiling and painting and decorating. If you fancy working alongside a brilliant team, then read on… Typical day as a Painter and Decorator * As multi skilled Painter and Decorator, all allocated jobs are completed right first time, with a whole job repair approach, providing a brilliant service for our customers. * Decorating works across repairs, maintenance and property refurbishments. * Delivering high-quality and compliant work. * Multi skilling to improve first time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers’ homes. * Working in our properties across Hertfordshire and Essex (needs to be a commutable distance for you). You have * City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in painting and decorating or equivalent. * Experience in all aspects of painting and decorating work within a maintenance environment. * Experience in other building trade areas (multi skilled). * A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgement. * A full current driving licence as you’ll be provided with a company van for business use and commuting. Job details * Working Monday to Friday, you’ll also be asked to take part in our out of hours service on a rota with colleagues with an additional generous on call payment. * You’ll work across our properties across Hertfordshire and Essex. Our office base is in Welwyn Garden City. * You must be able to use technology for logging jobs, complete online learning and collaborating with other colleagues. * You’ll need a Basic DBS check done and we pay for that.
