Location: Huddersfield Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off DaysAbout Us: Join My clients dynamic team in the thriving Food manufacturing sector Our client is currently looking for a skilled Electrical Bias Engineer to joing their team Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems to ensure their optimal functioning.Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns promptly, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.Conduct inspections and tests on machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent failures.Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components or parts using appropriate tools and techniques.Calibrate and adjust equipment to maintain accuracy and efficiency.Install new equipment and machinery as needed, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize downtime.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment histories.Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve skills and knowledge.Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times, promoting a culture of safety within the organisation.Requirements:Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer or similar role, with expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems preferred.Previous experience working within a Manufacturing and Production environmentStrong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with a systematic approach to troubleshootingProficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks.Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and other relevant technologies is desirable.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Flexibility to work outside regular hours and respond to emergencies as needed.Benefits:Competitive salary of £38,000 - £45,000 per annum.4 on 4 off shift pattern days, providing a great work-life balance.Opportunity to work in a leading company within the food manufacturing sector.Continuous professional development and career advancement opportunities.Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and pension plan.For more information please apply today with an up to date CV Make sure to customize the placeholders like Your City/Region, Your Company Name, Your Email Address, and Insert Deadline with the actual details before posting the job ad
