Our client is a leading engineering manufacturer and specialise in the supply of components to various sectors.As a Quality Engineer you receive a wide range of benefits such as, Flexi hours, up to 14 Pension contribution, Cycle to work scheme, Free optician and dentist appointments and a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 paThis Huddersfield based new state of the art facility is easily accessible from the M62 and surrounding areas such as Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Wakefield and CastlefordQuality Engineer : The Role APQP Responsibility: You’ll oversee the entire APQP process for Automotive business inquiries, collaborating with all departments to achieve goals. Core Tool Implementation: Your role includes effective use and maintenance of core tools such as Control Plans, PFMEA, MSA, PPAP, and SOPs. Customer Complaints Management: Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and handle 8D reports and customer communication. Risk Reduction: Collaborate on FMEA reviews with a multi-functional team and contribute to action plans for risk reduction. Audits and Customer Interaction: Conduct internal, process, and product audits, communicate directly with automotive customers, and participate in customer site visits. Quality Engineer : The ideal Candidate will have Extensive Automotive Quality Engineering Experience: You bring significant experience as a quality engineer in the Automotive sector. Proficient in Core Tools: Trained in core tools such as Control Plans, PFMEA, MSA, PPAP, and SOPs. IATF 16929 Internal Auditor Certification: Qualified to conduct internal audits according to IATF standards. Contract Review Expertise: Skilled in top-level contract review. Engineering and Manufacturing Background: Your experience includes an engineering or manufacturing background.
