This permanent role offering up to £60,000 based in Huddersfield will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to build experience in multiple areas of the business, enhancing their skillset.As EC&I Engineer the successful applicant will receive a benefits package that including bonus, DC pension scheme & AVC, private medical insurance, life assurance, income protection, gym membership, enhanced maternity & paternity leave and 25 days’ annual leave plus statutory holidays.Responsibilities of the successful EC&I Engineer: Lead C & E, I on siteLead improvements and optimization projects on existing plant and facilitiesCarry out feasibility studies as part of the budgeting and project processesProvide Electrical expertise into safety activities and other safety improvement projects.Take a leadership role with respect to company standards & systems associated with C & E, I.Manage small CAPEX projects and improvements involving staff from maintenance, manufacturing, & operations.Work closely with the Maintenance team to root cause breakdowns and provide technical expertise to support plant trouble shooting. The successful EC&I Engineer will have relevant experience working in a Chemical/Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or in a similar industry. Applicants will ideally hold a degree in either an electrical/instrumentation discipline.Taking this opportunity as EC&I Engineer would mean working for a leading global producer of pharmaceuticals.
