T People are recruiting for an experienced Electrician.Location: BirminghamEmployment Type: Permanent PositionSalary: £46,000paJob Summary:T People are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports EICR for social housing / residential properties.The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring electrical safety and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports EICR:Perform thorough inspections and testing of electrical installations to assess their condition and compliance with current regulations.Identify any defects, deterioration, damage, or non-compliance with electrical standards.Documentation and Reporting:Accurately complete and issue EICRs, detailing the condition of electrical installations and any required remedial work.Provide clear and concise reports to clients, outlining findings and recommendations for necessary actions.Maintenance and Repairs:Carry out necessary repairs and maintenance work on electrical installations to rectify any issues identified during inspections.Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines.Customer Service:Communicate effectively with clients to explain inspection results, necessary repairs, and safety advice.Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanour at all times.Compliance and Standards:Keep up-to-date with current electrical regulations and best practices e.g., IET Wiring Regulations.Ensure all work adheres to health and safety standards and company policies.Health and Safety:Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, clients, and colleagues.Identify and mitigate any potential hazards encountered during inspections and repairs.Qualifications and Experience:18th Edition Wiring RegsRelevant qualifications in electrical installation NVQ Level 3City & Guilds 2391or equivalent for inspection and testingExperience:Proven experience in conducting EICRs and issuing electrical safety certificates.Experience in maintenance and repair of electrical installations.Skills:Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and safety standards.Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and customer service skills.Other Requirements:Valid driver’s licenceAbility to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.To register for this position / express an interest in this position please complete our online registration form – click here: https://tudoremployment.victoriaforms.com/p/TPeopleAlternatively, for further information please call Joe on 01922 XXXXXX or email XXXX@tpeople.co.uk.T People is a division of Tudor Employment Agency Ltd
