DESCRIPTION Marketing and Communications Manager Currys London Campus at Waterloo (LHO004) Permanent Full Time Grade 4 In your role as our 'Marketing and Communications Manager' you'll primarily be responsible for driving forward our creative, PR and Social Media efforts, as well as helping iD improve its internal comms and employee branding. You'll also work multi:channel across our marketing mix, taking ownership and responsibility for campaigns and activity that help drive brand awareness, as well as acquisition. You will work closely with an exciting and innovative Creative and PR agency to manage campaigns end:to:end, helping to define and implement a new strategic approach that delivers our brand story. Working collaboratively with colleagues who own different areas of our marketing mix, you'll support and guide one:another to achieve and drive meaningful result. iD Mobile is one of the fastest growing MVNOs ever in the UK market. We quickly grew to over 1.6 million subscribers as a disruptive new entrant, levering our unique position as the only network owned by Currys (a FTSE 250 company). iD is one of the main strategic growth opportunities for Currys, underpinning its mobile category. As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:- Ownership of our PR and Social channels; managing the relationships, briefs, and outputs with our Creative and PR agencies; as well as defining and reporting on KPIs.- Overseeing the production of marketing and communication materials and content (external and internal), whilst leading on and driving an internal comms and employee branding strategy.- Developing, managing, and executing marketing and communication campaigns that deliver to commercial or brand objectives.- Act as one of our brand guardians, ensuring adherence to our visual style and tone and advising on best practice with consumer facing material.- Coordinating with departments across the business and with external partners to ensure comms and creative consistency.- Supporting the development of a multi:channel marketing strategy that facilitates customer acquisition and retention. You will need:- First:hand experience as a manager of PR and Social media channels.- Ability to manage agency and 3rd party partners.- Ability to identify creative and innovative opportunities.- Good digital marketing knowledge or savvy- Experience in managing people is a must.- Experience in working within the Telecommunications or Subscription based business We know our people are the magic ingredient in our success.
