You will operate on a shift pattern to ensure continuous support and maintenance for our engineering operations. Utilize your dual skills in mechanical and electrical disciplines to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair factory equipment. Implement and manage effective maintenance processes and systems to enhance equipment reliability. Ensure engineering operations run seamlessly, supporting manufacturing and quality processes to achieve maximum efficiency. Apply a logical and methodical approach to the daily operations of the factory, ensuring timely and effective task completion. Employ lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvements and operational excellence. To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track record as an Engineering Technician in a manufacturing setting, strong skills in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, and in-depth knowledge of maintenance processes and systems. Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices is essential. You should also possess methodical problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to daily tasks, along with excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Relevant technical qualifications e.g., NVQ, HNC, HND, or equivalent are highly desirable.
