The Company: Established in September 1996 Distributor of the full range of Heavy Machinery equipment in the Southeast of the UK. New Machinery, Used Machinery, Generators. The Role of the Field Service Generator Engineer You will be required to work both in a workshop and site environment Electrically and mechanically qualified Be able to do mechanical and electrical fault finding Repair and service of generators Repair and service of associated equipment Investigate, diagnose and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment Service equipment both on and off site Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems Complete paperwork and time sheets in a timely manner Good customer service skills Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment Ensure work/personal equipment complies with all safety standards Present a professional image at all times Take responsibility for health and safety of self, colleagues and customers in line with the company Health and Safety Policy Benefits of the Field Service Generator Engineer £27k - £38k salary 22 Days Holiday + bank holidays Pension Death in Service Cash Back Health Plan Cycle to work Scheme Uniform The Ideal Person for the Field Service Generator Engineer Solid mechanical aptitude Minimum 5 years generator experience Knowledge of engines, alternators, control panels and wiring diagrams Diagnostic and leadership skills able to work in a team or alone Driving License Ability to service the range of machines would also be useful Excellent verbal, written and critical thinking skills Proficiency with MS Office Interpersonal relationships/ Customer awareness/ Commercial awareness Efficiency Flexibility – remain flexible to all aspects of the role If you think the role of Field Service Generator Engineer is for you, apply now Consultant: Joshua Cummings Email: XXXX@otrsales.co.uk Tel no. 0208 397 4114 Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK.
