VACANCY: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Mechanical BiasLOCATION: Sherburn-In-Elmet LS25HOURS OF WORK: Monday - Friday rotating shifts 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00SALARY: £40000 per annum + Standby/On Call Are you a Mechanically Biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to elevate your engineering career within the food industryYou can, by joining a highly successful business located in Sherburn-In-Elmet. This esteemed company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to enhance their dedicated Maintenance Team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in refining equipment and processes to achieve greater efficiency, cost-effectiveness, safety, and environmental sustainability. Embrace the challenge of reducing downtime and boosting output while adhering to stringent Company Policies and Procedures.The core responsibilities of this role include providing swift breakdown response services, contributing to the development of a robust Preventative Maintenance PPM system, and delivering comprehensive engineering support across the site. The Maintenance Engineer will also be instrumental in implementing safe work practices, participating in on-call rotas for optimal site coverage, and actively engaging in environmental impact reduction.Candidates will be expected to maintain meticulous records, manage electronic documentation, and utilise the Sage 200 system for ordering essential parts and services. The role extends to supervising junior team members, collaborating with various departments for continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations.The ideal applicant will have a proven track record in both electrical and mechanical engineering within a similar environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and influence are essential.
