Join a highly regarded specialist in fire protection as a Fire Risk Assessor for low and medium:risk buildings. The role is either full:time or part:time, and remote work is possible. THE JOB: : Validate fire risk assessments for both internal and external clients. : Provide constructive feedback and collaborate with assessors to implement necessary improvements. : Apply quality assessment frameworks and techniques to ensure all fire risk assessments are suitable, sufficient, and consistently of high quality. : Ensure all assessments comply with the Fire Safety Order and are certified by competent professionals. : Conduct site visits and physical inspections, including accessing loft spaces using ladders, to validate risk assessments. : Assist with internal and external audits, addressing findings with management responses and improvement plans. : Support the maintenance of BAFE SP205 3rd party accreditation and independent professional reviews. KEY SKILLS and EXPERIENCE: : Meet nationally recognized Competency Criteria for Fire Risk Assessors from the Fire Sector Federation or similar. : Extensive experience in conducting and validating fire risk assessments, particularly in commercial settings. : Strong understanding of quality assessment frameworks and techniques. : Capable of conducting physical inspections, including accessing loft spaces. : Previous experience with BAFE Accreditation SP205 and third:party accreditations.
