The Tenancy Specialist Team Leader will support the Tenancy Specialist Manager in the delivery of a regional anti-social behaviour and housing fraud service, and will effectively manage and drive high quality performance of the team. This role offers hybrid working with 2 days a week based in office and 3 days working from home. Requirements Previous experience in a similar role, with extensive knowledge of tackling anti-social behaviourPrevious experience in a team leadership positionIn-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and current issues within the housing sectorDemonstrable achievement in developing a team to build team competence and performanceUnderstanding of good practice in managing tenancy fraud and key legislationExperience and understanding of legal proceedings and presenting cases in court.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlinesBasic DBS Certificate required Role Expectations Supervising the work of 5 Tenancy Specialists who deal with all ASB casework and cases of housing fraudDay to day supervision of a regional team of Tenancy Specialist to deliver an effective and professional response to issues of anti-social behaviour and social housing fraud, ensuring that our neighbourhoods are places that residents want to live.Provide support and advice to the team on complex queriesExpectation to contribute to serious cases and attend multi-agency meetings where necessaryWork with the Neighbourhood teams to map ASB hotspots and identify positive medium term and longer term solutions to ASB, inform the local Neighbourhood Plans and local offersWork with Courts and court user groups across the region to ensure standards are compliant with court civil procedures and any pre-action protocols and has a positive working relationshipLead and motivate the Tenancy Specialist Team through monthly 1:1 meetings, team meetings and annual performance reviews to ensure key performance targets are being met within service standards.Willing to respond at short notice in the event of a major incidentWillingness to travel across the region and to other offices as required If you are interested in this position and meet the above criteria, please send your CV now for consideration.
