The manufacturing facility has seen significant investment and as a result, the working conditions and equipment are excellent that can’t be matched by many in the local area. An General Operative is needed due to an extensive order book that is full for the next two years with further projects going for tender. Duties of the General operative : Operating machineryAssisting fittersMoving vehiclesAssisting the decommissioning team as and when required along with other departmentsSafely manage the waste and material movement both internally & externally across the siteMoving goodsAbility to manage and priorities own workload effectively Experience of the General Operative : Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracyAbility to drill and be confident using hand and power toolsPrevious experience of working in an engineering environment desirableEnsures deadlines are met whilst working under pressureExcellent team player What’s in return for the General Operative role: Up to £11.50 an hour37 hours basic and overtime available at 1.5Regular days, early finish on a Friday.Ongoing training provided to up-skill further Alternatively, if you would like a private chat about the role before submitting your CV please contact RODGER MORLEY at E3 Recruitment.
